Ever since I saw the latest Mui Mui runway show, have thought that it would be very easy to do an amazing DIY using a well-cut collared blouse. Cutting out sections and replacing them with sheer mesh/lace, and adding beads or studs. I particularly like the detail of cutting two symetrical panels along the front horizontal seam of the shoulder panel (just above the collar bone) and down to the breast. You could leave the buttons on to keep the shape. There are also many other ways to customise a collared blouse, like putting slits in the sleeves or cutting square boxes of fabric out.
