Love these feather fringed jeans, make your own by attaching some feather fringe to the side seams, or sewing on individual feathers so that they hang down and create a fringe.

DIY Feather Lined Boots
As you may know, I can't go past a pair of shearling lined boots, particularly when they are DIYed. But stumbled upon this image and feel in love with the feather lined boots. so effing cool! Buy some feather trim like this, and either tie it around your ankles underneath your boots with the feathers pointing up, or glue it to the inside of your boots.
I get the feeling that the master DIYers out there who rarely get a mention are the stylists who put together amazing shoots like the one above, and are able to turn a simple outfit into something amazing.

DIY Inspiration - Tuxedo Dress
Would love to add a cute little skirt, in feathers, tulle, chiffon or silk, to a blazer or long line cardigan.

DIY at LFw - Embellished Collars
I am still madly curshing on embellished collars, and the LFW exhibition proved that they'll soon be heading to a store near you. Why not make your own? Buy an old shirt from a thrift shop, choosing one that has a nice collar. Cut off the collar (keeping the single top button) and then add embellishments. Love the sparkles, feathers, and also the spraypainted bells in the last photo.

DIY Tribal Jewellery
My tribal obsession deepens every day. Was very happy to see a very pretty boy in a very very pretty tribal-inspired necklace, which looks pretty damn DIYable to boot! Take some ribbon, leather or string as the basis for the necklace, and attach feathers, shells and wooden beads by tying them on. The messier and more birdsnest-like the better!

I regularly check out Honestly WFT to satisfy my tribal cravings... they always seem to source the most gorgeous tribal/bohemian images.

DIY Pocahontas
Love this simple headress. Am annoyed that I didn't pick up the grey and white feather I saw on the ground when I was walking to work this morning... Although feathers from dirty London pigeons might not have the same chic affect?

DIY Feather Headress
There are never enough opportunities to dress up. Grab a headband, some large feathers (my friends mum is Australia makes amazing feather hats and she gets people she knows in the outback to scour their farms for dead birds to get really authentic feathers. However, in lieu of having farms or dead birds, you can hit a craft store)and some wire. Wrap the wire around the feathers individually and then attach the wire to the headband.

DIY Six Six Sick '3D Flower Skirt
Ever since I saw the DIY Flower Skirt on Six Six Sick’s blog a year or so back, I have been obsessed with trying it for myself. It involves covering a skirt in a huge number of silk/plastic flowers that have been dipped in acrylic or resin paint. So Amazing! I think I will give it a go this weekend… Homebase here I come - with a looonnnng list! Although I think a black skirt with black laquered flowers would be more versatile.
