Birthday!

It is my birthday tomorrow (ripe old age of 26), and I am very excited. I still have a childlike enjoyment of birthdays and try to spin them out as long as possible. I'm planning to milk this one for at least two weeks more - you have been warned.

LOML took me out to Wimberley winery today to celebrate - we took a brief wine appreciation course and then tasted a selection of their wines. I particularly liked the Viogner, if you happen to come across it. We used to visit wineries a great deal in New Zealand, but this is our first visit to a Texan winery. And they had a paddock of longhorns, miniature donkeys and Shetland ponies, as well! Heaven.
