Guide to Ebay

The one where its all about ebay. Ebay is a treasure trove of cheap goodies. If you do it properly you can deck yourself out completely without spending too much. However, just like vintage sellers at Brick Lane and Camden Markets (where they know there's a huge market) increasingly savvy sellers are driving up prices by selling in shops and styling their clothes well. This is where good ebay know-how comes in handy. Susie Lau from Style Bubble did a overview of how she uses ebay (sounding like a somewhat mad ebay guru) which I regularly go back to, has really helped me make the most of the bargain hunting potential. I particularly like the tips around searching for the particular details you are looking for, like 'pleats' or 'studs', searching both title and description (a must!) and searching using common spelling mistakes. Although you'd have to have a serious amount of time on your hands to do that last one...See susie's guide here.
